Re-arranging my bedroom ;D

Assalamualaikum!!
Hello world!

Phew! If you wonder how I am doing, I am currently embracing the life of the almost-graduate (or some people say: the unemployed).. Aaand I've spent the last three months from the late Feb-April watching stock movies, travelling to my parents' hometown - visiting grandmas, visiting my little baby niece: Clairvy, and for everyday basis: I just sleep late-wake up late & eat!!
Yeah.. yeah, I know I sound super lazy.. But do not make an assumption based on what I tell you, cuz you can't see me in the depth of my soul, can you? :P
Of course I've attended job interviews and even my campus' job expo, but to be hired to my first job which will be my career path to success isn't as easy as I imagine because it requires a gigantic self-esteem, a big fat resume & references to compete with the other million of fresh-almost-graduates...

Enough with the blahs! So today I did some re-arrangement on my bedroom and as usual, it took more than 4 hours for me to finish it. Thank God it finally finished, and I really like how it looks now. I must say, my bedroom had never been tidier!! Here's how the desk and bookshelf looks like:

Ta-Daaa!! This is the best I could do to my desk! No more backache like a granny caused by browsing on bed, >.< Alhamdulillah!

As you can see, I reuse my old cassette-case as an earphone-case and as my cellphone stand. ^o^ I actually got some tips by typing "cassette case reuse" on google picture search! On the wall, I taped some vacancy brochures I got from my campus job expo, in case I want to re-apply online for the job.

Here's how I put my book collection beside the desk. Not so tidy, just the way I like it. On the top of the bookshelf is my makeup collection! More on that later!

I'm still a simple, very girl-next-door type of Indonesian (as I said before, I'm broke and unemployed!), so I don't have fancy decorations like *cough* other well known *cough* fashion blogger... So that's how it is. I'm sorry I won't show the other part of my bedroom, because it really isn't interesting at all. I got a "fashionable" clothes rack that I bought at ACE hardware but it's pretty full and messy.. and I'm so shy to show you my unfashionable clothes collection (not even sure to call it 'a collection'). Hehehe...

I hope you like my post guys, let me know what you think about this.
Cheerio! Wassalamualaikum... <3

Oriflame Natural skincare Night Enrichment Review

Oriflame is a makeup, skincare, fragrances brand from Swedia that has been a huge Multi Level Marketing company and widely known in Indonesia with a huge number of members. Most of their products are not so special but they are pretty good and does not cost you a fortune, compare to the other skincare/ makeup brands like The Body Shop, Bath and Body Works, etc. (alright, enough with the company profile! ^o^')
So far, the only product that I LOVE is this night cream, named Night Enrichment: Evening Primrose Oil & Wheat Proteins. The reason I bought it was because of they contain the well-known evening primrose oil (check out her benefits here). I've known the benefits since I took the food supplement whenever my period is coming. I was so happy when I found this product on Oriflame catalog my friend, Sofie offered me in early 2011. I ordered it right away when it was on sale.

I was thrilled when I got it, it was bigger than I expected and there are plenty of products in the packaging! When I apply it on my face it is so smooth and the texture is not sticky at all. The cream is not so thick and you would only feel minor oil. It smells sooo good and calming. Wonderful product! It moisturizes your skin right away, and leaves a little cool feeling on your face for a minute.
I use it sparingly every night on a clean face and let my face absorbs it, I usually go to sleep and then find my face free of acne, feel soft and supple in the next morning! Keep in mind that my face is dry to combination, and can have small acnes. But I'm pretty sure it will not disappoint you either because of the magical main ingredients!
If you have very bad acne inflammation, dip in your finger and apply this on the troubled skin, it would really help calm the inflammation down, and in the morning it would get smaller. You should continue applying for a few days to get better results.

OVERVIEW
Price: Not so cheap, but it last a very long time, so it really worth the price. If you compare to other high end night creams, this is much more cheaper. (***)
Quality: Very good! Works wonderfully for acne prone skin and sensitive skin. It will calm your ances, moisturizes, and give you that more healthy looking skin in the next morning. (****)
Purchase again?: Definitely! But I haven't ran out of it since the first purchase.

If you also have tried it, please let me know how you think of this product on the comment section below. :)

Love,
Mei3ya.

Mentholatum Acnes Creamy Wash & Sealing Gel Review

image taken from google

I had my first acne when I was in Junior-High School. I was always bothered by how they ruined my face and could not help but squeezing it (“yuucckkk..!” I know, I know..). My Mom suggested to keep my hands off, or at least clean enough to touch my face. And she used to remind me to put on some of her Marcks’ Powder before I go out (She said it could protect my face from the sunlight, dust and pollution out there). And it did work, despite of my seldom application ‘cause of the laziness. :))

Then, my acne problem stopped when I was in my freshmen year at College… For a long time my face was flawless.. Yaayy.. But then when I go out at night often to watch some Metal Gigs, my face started to over-react with all the smoke, because most of the people in Metal Gigs smoke cigarettes. -_-” I really can’t stand people smoking next to me, but I didn't know my face is also allergic to smoke!! There were lots of small acne-like which was very surprising; I clean my face every night, especially after going out to a gig. And the worst thing was that it did not recover even though I tried so many acne gel or cream. :(

After my mother gave me that "I-told-you-so" look, I went to a dermatologist, and she gave me a complete-expensive skin care package: a day cream, a night cream, a cleanser, and a toner. They worked so well that my allergic wiped out by the time the products were almost finished. But when it did finished, I didn’t want to buy the same expensive product (which cost IDR 200.000) and to be dependent on it. So I found this Mentholatum Acnes Products at a Supermarket, and they look decent as an imported US licensed product. I tried it and it worked as well as my skin-doctor’s products! The doctor’s cream has made my face too-whitey, but this Acnes did not gave such result. I LOVE IT! I think it is good for those who has oily and combination skin because it cleanse your oily face. On the other hand, would make a dry face type even drier. I suggest you to apply moisturizer after you clean your face just to keep them soft and supple. ;3

The acne has been seldom coming ever since. Then I tried the Acnes Mentholatum Sealing Gel, which look a little yellowish but it’s invisible when you apply it. It also work very good on my face because it works like this: a few hours after you apply it onto the acne area, your acne will become red and your skin will absorb the gel, then the next morning it will calm down your acne and it looks better, or even completely gone. (Result may vary, depend on the acne condition). It is definitely work better than the other acne gel product I’ve ever used, and it doesn’t cost too much money!! :D

This two products are my most favorite and I’ve been using it until now.

OVERVIEW

Price: Cheap and reasonable compare with other local acne product. (***)

Quality: Very good. It works wonderfully on my skin. The creamy wash really cleanse my face like a pro, and the sealing gel really works to relief my acne in one night! (***)

Purchase again? : YES! Since I use just a wee bit of product everyday, it would last more than a month. The small tube creamy wash is very compact for travelling bytheway. :D

UPDATE 19-February-2012: The Sealing Gel's packaging is now in a small plastic tube, the product looks and smells the same but the quality is now decreased. i don't know why they would do this but I think they're trying to get more profit by "deceiving" the loyal customer. Sadly, with the latest poor quality, I'd have to find another acne gel that fights my acne as well as the older one. And I would not buy this product again. :(
